Karin Warner
An Akron, Ohio native, Karin has been honing her skills as a photographer all of her life. Her work focuses on landscapes, antiquities and portraiture. Careful in her craft, Karin has an intelligent eye for composition and a gifted sense of color resulting in photographs that provoke deep thought and wonder.
Karin is an active member of the Cuyahoga Valley Photographic Society, the Professional Photographers of Northeast Ohio and Cleveland Photographic Society.
Her works have been shown in numerous exhibitions. Her 1992 photograph of Fountains Abbey in England was selected for the final round of the National Geographic Traveler photo contest. She is a member of the Women’s Art League of Akron and has won first, third place and honorable mention awards in their member shows.
Most recently, one photograph was accepted for the Kaliedoscope Juried Exhibition, sponsored by the Alliance for the Visual Arts, which is now open at Summit Artspace thru March 14th.
